Hisense 75 inch Widescreen 4K 3D Smart LED TV – a 2007 40″ Sony Bravia that is a truly great TV in its era to this 50″ 4K

I am unsure of how to rate this for the money it’s a whole lot of kit but some of the functionality doesn’t work as expected for example streaming applications such as tversity and windows media are only sometimes picked up so i cant use those services to stream. When i spoke to hisense they basically said it was my fault which is a load of tosh as my other tv picks up those services fine. However i have recently discovered plex which is really goodok moving on the positives of the tv are as followspicture quality for the pricecan play different format mkv for example which my cousins 900 lg couldn’tsound quality is good for the pricenegativesprocessing speed is slow select a function can take a couple of seconds to registerquality control i had 4 of these tvs before one actually was ok. Issues stemmed from dead pixels to black patches on the screen to actual issues with the screen itselfbuild is a bit plastikycustomer service is not the bestoverall happy with the tv and have to give a shout out to amazon customer services which was aqesome.

Moving from a 10yr old 42′ 720hd tv and an sd projector to this 65′ hisense is a revelation even with only a 1080 signal, planet earth 2 was a never ending series of ‘ooh’ and ‘wow’ around the room. It’s necessary to tweak the picture and backlight settings a little to suit your own tastes, but that’s expected. The only slight negative would be the slightly shiny screen does reflect some lights from behind the viewing position , so they may need moving. There may be better tvs out there but they probably cost a lot more too.

Be careful when considering the purchase of a hisense tv based on reviews here. Not that the reviews are lying, these tvs are indeed excellent, but for some reason amazon is lumping all the reviews for all the different models in to the same pile. I myself own the 2016 hisense 65′ k5510 model and am so far absolutely loving it. Didn’t buy from here but it was priced the same. Coming from a very good 2015 1080p sony bravia i was sceptical about 4k but i’m glad i took the risk of both 4k and hisense. Picture is amazing after some messing with settings. Very vivid, very sharp and very smooth. Sound is just brilliant for a flatscreen and is full of depth and bass and when tweaked in the settings is very detailed. Has netflix built in capable of 4k streaming which works fine but obviously for the best 4k experience you want either a 4k blu-ray job or an external hard drive with 4k content loaded on.

  • Great TV at a FANTASTIC price – software could be improved

For the money- great, don’t expect £1000 performance of £420- get real. Ok so i had to buy a new tv and didn’t want to spend the earth. As far as i can tell, after a week, the tv is great. The picture is very clear, especially with a blu-ray playing. It’s a bit of a gamble as i had a samsung (4 years then screen went), a sony (3 years then screen went), so given both tv’s cost £700 and £1000 respectively. I thought for the money i’d give this a go. It is a lot lighter than the samsung and very neat. If it mainatains it’s present state i will be buying a 55 inch.

The up scaling from hd to uhd is amazing too. Even standard def is good but i. This tv has surpassed all my expectations. The picture quality is nothing short of breathtaking with 4k streams. The up scaling from hd to uhd is amazing too. Even standard def is good but i would not recommend it for this type of tv due to the size of the screen. I had mounted on my living room wall a 55’lg 3d tv this came off the wall and the hisense simply slotted onto the mount with ease. It also comes with a two year warranty when you register it with hisense. The only downside for me was not with tv but with the delivery it was dumped in my living room i asked the man to unpack it for me and take the packaging away and was met with a very curt reply ‘we dont usually do that’this is not what the carriers web site stated as i am a 73 year old man i did expect this service. In conclusion i can , without doubt, recommend this tv (if you can get it) you wont find a tv like this with the same or similar specification for this kind of money.

This is a really good tv with great quality picture. If you’ve seen a samsung or sony 4k tv then don’t expect that quality, but there again you are paying way below their prices. This is a really good tv with great quality picture. The price for this is that you would expect to pay for hd but is much better. The sound quality is great, no need for a sound bar at all. Not perfection but well worth the money.
